Is my current rig enough to play at low res with high settings if not the highest.

Hey guys. So finally the next gen of gaming is here and i find my self in a pickle like many others i'm sure as to whether to upgrade or hold on a little longer with what i have till the next gen hits it's stride.

I plan to game on 1360 x 768 because its 16:9 which makes games look nice and at the same time low enough to give best possible FPS. i wish to play at high settings. Like the second highest settings and not THE HIGHEST. And i usually play FPS, TPS, action RPGs, RTS, hack-n-slash etc. when it comes to AAA games.

I personally want to hold on to my current rig for as long as an year or more before upgrading so i can also have a proper budget by that time to get the best possible system.

6850 CFX should be totally fine for low resolutions like 1366x768 because their limited VRAM is less of an issue.

Its good to get an opinion from you guys. Thanks. I guess i'll stick with my current specs for now. I'm looking forward to get crysis 3 as soon as it goes on sale. From what i've been reading about it on net that its like crysis benchmark all over again running it should give me even a better idea on how long will my system be able to keep with upcoming games. I just hope its not too unoptimized for multi gpu setups like ACIII which was a pain to run
