Is my current PSU good enough for upgrade?

I am upgrading to either a E6750 or Q6600 with (1) 8800gts, 1 DVD drive, 2 HD. Will my Forton 500watt psu be fine for all of this? I was using it on the system in my sig with SLI and it was fine for that. Also if my sole purpose of this machine is to play games like Crysis, should I go with the 6750 or the Q6600? I upgrade about every time processor speed doubles.
 
sounds like you don't upgrade that often, so I would recommend Q6600. It's a little bit more expensive than e6750 but you should get almost the same overclock out of it and it will be much better in the long run. The fortron should be fine as long as you stay away from sli, and even then it will probably be ok unless you get a monster overclock going 🙂
