I just upgraded from a pair of 5870's 2GB Eyefinity 6's to a pair of XFX 6970's. I don't think that my 3dMark scores are that impressive either before or after the upgrade. I'm running everything at stock speeds. I know that my motherboard is not very impressive. It was the first revised board out and I bought it. Is the x4 PCI express slot for the 2nd card limiting me? I bought a new HAF 932 case on a BF deal and am wondering if I should even bother installing the biostar motherboard or just bite the bullet and upgrade (thinking about a Asus P8Z68 V Pro). thanks

5870's Crossfire = 27,XXX
6970 Crossfire = 29,XXX

Win 7 Prof 64bit
biostar tp67b+
2600k w/stock cooler
8 Gb ram
Vertex 3 120gb, 300gb raptor, 750 gb black
Silencer 750
Solo III
3X Dell 2408

Yes that 4x isn't great for crossfire but it's better then nothing. Plus a 6970 isn't a huge jump from the 5870 cards

Thanks - I only picked up the 6970's due to a Amazon pricing error. I was worried I may be pushing my power supply but so far so good.
