Hi every body, its been a long time since my last post.
Yesterday I was playing Rise of nation when my computer did a reset. So the second I was back in windows i've checked my asus Prob. My CPU was at 67 C( i've set my computer to shot down at this level). I want to know what is the normal heat level for my cpu running with the stock amd fan and what is the dangerous level of heat i should avoid reching.
This the first time i have this problem. I've never cleaned my case since november. Btw..I'm not over clocking..oh and what fan souhld i get if i chance it?

Thx to all of you.

Salut, je te réponds en anglais pour que ca puisse servir aux autres...

According to this AMD whitepaper (page 23), the maximum operating temperature sustainable by a 2100+ is 90 Celcius. I would not recommend running it over 80 degress for any length of time. No damage should occur under 80.

Cleaning the CPU heatsink as well as all the fans in the system should help. Reorganising cabling to maximise airflow in your case should help too (probably the best thing to do).

If it doesnt, get yourself a decent Heatsink fan combo (30$ can should be enough) (something by thermaltake or another known brand), but nothing extreme is necessary.

Hope this helps,

Simon
