Is my cpu making my game crash?

I am playing Command and Conquer 3 tiberium wars and about 5-10 minutes in, it just goes to the desktop. The game is not minimized its just exits itself. It has the latest patch and meets system requirements.
2.00 p4 or amd equivalent - I have 1.73 core duo
1 gb of ram - I have 1.5 gb

Video card must work because it plays for 5-10 minutes.
Is my clockspeed too low? Is it my intel gma 950 128 mb card?
If you know please tell me how to fix this.

Are you playing a map with lots of bots or other players?

There was an article awhile back on games using up I believe its called the page file and then closing without giving an error as to why. Supreme Commander was a big culprit and STALKER was as well I believe. This might be your problem, I'll try to find that article.

Theres a chance its the vid card as well, intel integrated graphics aren't very powerful at all.

The fix probably came with SP1 if you're running vista, not positive on that though.

It's definitely not your CPU. However, remember that your integrated graphics "steals" RAM from the system, so upgrading to 2 or 3GB of RAM would likely help (as well as helping out your general Windows work).
