Is my computer screwed?

I came back from work today to find my computer shut down (it's usually always on). I press power and I hear this rather loud rattling sound and I get no beeps or anything. My monitor is not picking up a signal. I find out that the rattling is coming from my graphics card fan, so I took the card out and tried my onboard video. It doesnt make that sound anymore, but I still get nothing.. no signal to monitor, no beeps. I cant even open/close my dvd trays, so I thought it has to do the the PSU, but all the fans inside have power. Anyone know what the problem could be?

Take that card totally out of the system. If the machine overheated and the BIOS shut it off odds are that card is fried. Pull it out and do an inspect of your board, make sure you dont have any blown capacitors.

I do have the card completely out, and it still doesn't boot up (no POST or anything). I know this though: There was a power outage, and that is why my computer was shut off when I got back home.

Plug it in to a different outlet in your house. At least rule out a power issue from the wall.
If it's on a power strip, plug it in directly to the wall outlet.

Ok guys, I swapped out my Antec PSU with an old one, and at works. Thanks for the help. This is the second time this power supply went bad on me..its the Antec Neo-something 480W.
