Is my computer perma fried?

In the middle of the night my power flickered off&on real quick

Now my computer wont turn it. The power goes on but the monitor says "VIDEO CABLE CONNECTED?" in big blue letters. Nothing shows up on the screen.

I don't know what to do.

unplug your power supply, take out your video card, ram and cmos battery for 2 days and put everything back in, try to power on again...

Try turning the power switch on the PSU (not the front switch on the case) to 0/off for 30 seconds.

If that doesn't fix it, you'll have to check part-by-part to find what's good and bad.

Is your PC plugged into a surge suppressor? If so, it might have come with some kind of warranty that would cover you if it let a surge through.
