Well, I just got Tribes3 and I installed it. Normal settings, everything is working perfectly. I am curious to see how good the graphics look, so i set it to 1600x1200 ultra high, exit to windows and turn AA and AF to full. I re-enter Tribes3 and my computer turns to a blue screen (I think its the blue screen of death but im not sure) telling me that windows shut down to prevent damage. Is my CPU overheating, or is something going wrong? I restarted my computer many times and everytime i enter Tribes3 it crashes the same way... I think it is the CPU because I get this error when I overclock.

Is the system overclocked now? Try checking your temps as soon as you start the game. What kind of HS/F do you have on the CPU?

If it is not the CPU, it may be the video card that is overheating. Try taking the side panel off of your case and setting a box fan next to your computer, blowing directly on to the componenets.

Also, try using different graphics settings. This should in no way effect the heat produced by your components, but it could possibly just be a problem with the game at those settings. Have you searched for any patches?

But, if we are going to help you, we are going to need to know exactly what your CPU, RAM, and video card are clocked at if they are above spec.

CPU is @ stock 2.2Ghz and STOCK HSF
Ram is Running @ 400
My Video Card IS overclocked @ 220 / 520. (Stock is 200 / 460)

Another thing, I can play ANY game at High settings with Full AA and AF with no problems while overclocked. This included Doom3, Farcry etc and Ut2k4.

Oh ya one more thing, I remember seeing something that said nv4.dll or something during the blue screen. So mabye it has to do with the video card?

I believe nv4.dll is part of the display driver.

First, try bringing that video card back down to stock speeds.

If the game still crashes, then I would say it is a software problem, not a heat problem.
