Very likely it's overclockable, but I would greatly suggest reading in-depth on it..

A bad overclock attempt can make your PC unbootable, or make your components unusable..

Any and all overclocking also voids the warranty.

The Pentium D 820 runs very hot. You'll need a much better cooling fan to get any more out of that chip.

I have read about overclocking and have tried it using the BIOS but there is no option in it to change any of the clock speeds FSB,etc. Can u suggest any other method. I know that the 820 runs very hot (it reaches 80degree c during the summer). Could u also suggest a few cooling options that are not too expensive.

Unfortunately not a good idea to overclock CPU on this board. Either you'll burn the mainboard or you'll burn the CPU because this is a value mainboard which doesn't support much on overclocking.

If you don't care about burning your system, get a software controlled overclocking such Clockgen. Install it on Windows and play the OCing.
