Is my computer in need of Upgrades?

Hi, yesterday was my 21st birthday so I received some gift cards for CompUSA and Best Buy. My current computer works well for games and such but I would like more performance. They offer new 16mg SATA hard drives instead of my 8mg.
So I have $250 to spend at CompUSA and $150 for Best Buy. I was hoping you guys could take a look at my current system and let me know if you think any upgrades are needed.

COOLER MASTER Praetorian PAC-T01-EK Black Case
Antec TRUE430 ATX 430W Power Supply
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 2.0ghz OC?ed @ 2.35ghz Newcastle 800MHz FSB Socket 754 CPU
SOLTEK SL-K8AN2E-GR Socket 754 nForce3 250Gb AMD Motherboard
Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 160GB 7200rpm Serial ATA150 8MB Hard Drive
6800 GT 256mg Video Card
1gig of Crucial Ballistix PC 4000 Memory

CompUSA has a 3400+ 2.40 GHz, 1.6 GHz FSB AMD which is a 754 socket for around $270. I would like to upgrade to a new 939 but I don?t have enough for a new motherboard, so I figure ill stick to the 754 socket range. I think my current CPU might be bottlenecking my video card but I am not sure. Or perhaps I need one of the new 16meg HD for more performance?

That's not too bad as a gaming rig, is it? What about an accessory item that expands your horizons, such as a digital camera and a flash card for it, or a scanner, or maybe a PVR-250 video-capture card and a new HDD? You might get a lot more satisfaction out of those than you would out of another 20% more FPS in your games. Just an idea.

I wouldn't change nothing looks good from here. You're good on your SATA drive I would keep the gift cards for when you really need something.

Thanks for the advice everyone. You talked me out of buying upgrades, so I will probably buy a new cell phone.

OC your 3000 more and maybe add in another gig of RAM...and if your planning on getting a 7800 soon or more hardrives its good to have a better PSU...but currently you have a very nice rig😀
