Is my computer DX11 capable?

When I play Tribes Ascend is says 32bit DX9, shouldn't I be able to play at 64bit DX11?

Yes, HD5850 on Windows Vista is DX11 capable.

But Tribes Ascend is a DX9 game AFAIK

Just make sure you get SP2.

Not all games work in 64 bit mode and not every game is DX 11.

And most games are not 64 bit. 32 bit games are compatible with 64 bit OS and thats enough for most game devs to stick to.

Re DX9, some of them (ie, skyrim), to me, look far better than most DX11 titles.
