My client 463b is set for 1100 rc5 blocks. At the moment I have 463. What I try to0 fetch work, it says Input buffers are full or project is closed. What the h*ll is going on?
The client has a limit of 500 blocks at any one time (Not WU's, but blocks)....You can increase the number of WU's stored in those blocks by changing your packed size to 33 (RC5=33 = 2^33) which could give you those 1100 WU's that you would like to have 🙂. However, you won't be able to download any until you use a few of those up.
Engineer,
I've been experiencing the same problem as Dragonfire. When I try to fetch packets it's gives me an error saying that buffers are full or the project is completed. Normally, I download 24h worth of work (300x4^28 or so) at a time, but it's not grabbing anything, just crunching randoms.

Hmmmm? Where are you guys requesting your blocks from...? Directly from Mika's? I just got 2000 blocks from the team RR pproxy (proxy.teamanandtech.com)...?
What is your prefered packet size set to. Like Engineer said above, if you pacekt size isn't set to 2^33, you don't have a very good chance of getting enough packets before the 500 packet limit is eclipsed.
Edit: I just re-read your message. Are you saying that you input buffers are empty (you are cracking randoms) but the client won't update?
I had that problem last night. I was doing my nightly flush and only had about 100wu's left and it was saying "Input buffers are full or project is closed". It is working again this morning though. Good Luck. BTW: I use d.net not one of the team proxies to get the blocks.
Everything appears to be normal again. I believe my clients are set to retrieve default packet sizes (4x2^28?) I'm pulling packets from teamanandtech.dhs.org. Last night it looked like there were no packets to download, so it would crack a random and check again. D.net must have just hiccuped...

Instead of teamanandtech.dhs.org, you should use proxy.teamanandtech.com. It will still get your stats to Mika's proxy, but is more reliable for connections.
