I have a Kenwood True-X 72x CD-rom. Bad purchase, I know. It was extremely picky about reading burnt and scratched media from the start...you basically had to use perfect discs in it. But now, all the sudden, it won't read ANYTHING!! = (

I paid good money for this drive, even though it's been sitting unused for a while (I use my burner for normal CD-rom use, because it's a Plextor and works 2000 times better than the POS Kenwood). I don't have anything to clean the drive with, could that be the problem? Windows sees it, it gets power, etc...just when I have a disc in it says drive not ready or whatever it is...you know, the typical windows message like when you don't have a floppy in a:.
