So...great story...my dead takes our digital camera to work, puts it on top of his lunch box wich has ice in it. Ice melts and camera somehow slips in there and stays in there for a few good hours before my dad notices. Basically, it was in water for hours. We dried it all night, but it doesnt seem to turn on. So...I'm guessing its dead?

EDIT...it's a Samsung DigiMax 430 and my parents got it as a gift from their friends a while back. Kinda lame if its dead.

Did you check for a heartbeat?

No, seriously, yes its dead. Water for that long definitely got into the PCB and shorted something out. I was in the pool for less than 10 seconds with my Canon SD450 and it got fried too.
