I thought some people would find it at least slightly amusing (considering that many people here call me an Israeli apologist) that I didn't know that Vespasian was emperor of Rome when the Jewish state was destroyed. I should have known better.
EDIT: I meant that I should have known better what kind of response I would get.

frankly i didn't think that much about it... i never even made the connection between judea and jews
