I know the mainboard is getting on a bit now, but I recently purchased a USB 2.0 portable hdd bay, and would much prefer the US B2.0 speed as opposed to the sluggish USB 1.1
I've had a look around on the ASUS site, and it seems to direct me to the Via site, which tells me "Due to licensing agreements, USB 2.0 drivers are not available for download. USB 2.0 drivers are supplied on CD with new mainboards or new cards. If you have misplaced the driver CD or have questions about the USB 2.0 driver, please contact your motherboard manufacturer, the manufacturer of the USB 2.0 PCI card, or Microsoft."
So from there I head back to the ASUS site and I can't find any sort of patch/upgrade/driver that supports USB 2.0. So am I just an idiot who can't find drivers and is going to need to purchase a new mainboard in the near future (I'm upgrading for Half Life 2 anyway), or do these drivers actually exist?

Nothing on there, including the 4in1 update says anything about USB 2.0 :/
Am I out of luck?
