Question Is my 7yr old UPS 450 sitting in the closet now useless?

Bought an APC UPS 450 about 7yrs ago. (On sale)

4yrs ago, my UPS 800 died. Ordered new batteries.
Used the UPS 450 for a week then the replacement batteries came.
Then stuck it back in the closet.

Is the UPS 450 now useless?
Can i now not count on it?

Time to buy another?
(dont think i can replace the battery on it?)

Only one way to find out...charge it up, plug something in it's wattage range into it...unplug it from the wall.
