Is my 300W PS enough for this configuration?

I think my mobo just fried cuz there is no video signal when i restart the machine. At this point I am considering upgrading my Intel 700Mhz/ASUS CUSL-2 to an AMD 2100+/8RDA that everyone is talking about.

Now my question is that if I were to get one of those bad boys and try to OC it, and I have 6 hard drives, one scsi cdrom and one cd-rw, a geforece 3 card and all my PCI slots filled, is the 300W PS gonna be good enough? Thanks for any help.

For your system, I would get a quality-brand 400W+ unit and my favorite pick would be the Antec TruePower430 (or higher), or else a Sparkle Power or Enermax unit at 400W or higher. Also, I hope you're providing good cooling to your hard drives so they don't heat eachother up a lot?

I have an Antec S830 case and whatever PS that came with it is what I am using. Yeah I have 6 HDs running on it and I forget to mention I was running a Global Win on my CPU and 5 other fans, one fan per cage housing(3 HDs per cage), one intake, and two exhaust. Maybe that is why my mobo died on me.

I'd say get a 350 or higher Antec True Power or PCPowerAndCooling. If you can afford it, go with PCPAC, they make the best power supplies hands down.

Anybody have experience with 'Topower' power supplies? They look to be really excellent, though expensive.
