What are you basing your CPU "temperatures" guideline on? That's misinformation to a degree, since there are several mb's that regularly read 25+C over case temp on the "norm" due to thermistor location and compensation implemented by the manufacturer in an attempt to give better readings.
For example, it is quite common for an 8kha+ to read 10-15C over case when under load. That is the NORM, not the exception. Based on your guideline, people are automatically running too hot???
Also, look at a7v series and k7t-turbo mb's. They regularly readin in the 50-60C range, again as the norm. YOu can't make broad-based assumption statements about socket-thermistor temps in any case. There are far too many variables.
