I am looking to pick up a Snow Blower. Sams club has a 4.5hp Murray snow blower for around $350. Is Murray a good brand?

Tecumseh is about on par with Briggs.

The engine should last semi-decently.

If you want real quality, get a blower with a Honda engine.

Edit: Note, I imagine the engine isn't the only quality issue that goes along with snow blowers.. since engines are all I know about, that's all I can comment on. :)

We used Murray 2 stage snow blowers in the Air Force. The ones we had worked pretty good in the North Dakota winters.

While searching on this some more, I believe Craftsman sells the exact same model I am looking at, it is just in a different package. The model number is 621450X4.
