for example: could I also post as Joe and still be allowed to post as uncouth?

I've wondered that, too.

Generally speaking, I have no desire to be anyone other than me.

However, I know people have lots of identities here... is it kosher or ban worthy?

I think the issue is how the other name is used. For example, if an existing member decides to start trolling under a different handle, they get smacked.

If a banned member comes back under another handle, they get nuked.

Just having a second name, though, doesn't seem to be a problem.

You could sign up under a new "nick" if you were to lose your login information, and no longer had access to your original registered email account.

To use two or more accounts actively at the same time is frowned upon by the Mods.

i agree with Russ. Unless you have a very good reason, i don't see the reason why people have another nick

do you think "uncouthisourking" would be too conspicuous?

Well if you hadn't just said it we would have never known.

Well, I've seen many a person banned for having 2 identities. and I've also seen a reply somewhere that a mod replied saying you may not have 2.

I dont know what the rule is...but I'm just chiming in what I've seen....also, a user on the fs/ft forums was just banned for having 2 names.
