Is MSN Messenger service down?

I installed the update lastnight, I can logg in manually at the site but my MSN taskbar icon will not work it says "service not responding" etc,so is it my PC or Microsoft network?

UPDATE-see my last post,problem fixed.

I'm not havin any problems with MSN messenger this morning....probably Microsoft not your PC...I run into a few problems that are strange, there has been a few instances where I can't log on but a friend of mine down the street can, and we both use the same ISP, never understood that.
 
I too, havent had any trouble. Though sometimes (not recently) i havent been able to log in because it claimed the service was too busy.
 
UPATE- I`ve solved the problem,it was ZoneAlarm blocking MSN messenger,I had ZoneAlarm disabled from my startup programs menu but it was still blocking MSN Messenger so all I had to do was activate ZoneAlarm & tell it to allow MSN messenger access,(I think when I upgraded lastnight MSN messenger caused the problem for ZoneAlarm).

So if anyone else has this problem you know what to do.
