Is MS Office 97 compatible with Vista?

Works just fine with Vista 32 bit. Just be sure to do the windows office updates. Have not has an issue at all :)

Damn Office 97, this is why Microsoft can not make its OS's the best it could be. Come on that software is 11 years old now why would you not upgrade it. I think MS should should the way of other OS's and not have so much legacy compatibility :p Sorry i just find it weird that you are using it on either a computer that is 0-3 years old on an OS that is only 1 year old lol.

BTW Office 2007 rocks :)

If the S/W does the job why pay $300-$500 for an upgrade

I use office 95% or more of the time for word, I got 2007 for free from a MS Seminar. I like the interface but for the DOC's I create, there's nothing I do I couldn't do in Office 97. No reason for anyone with 97 to upgrade, to even office XP or 2003 if what they have does what they need.
