I wanted to change and exchange some contact information with some folks and it took the better part of 30 min to have the changes sync up, even with a forced sync (actually many more).

1 - i phone and pc were set to push. (pc was set to 'automatically'
2 - changes made where in address book
3 - done in the early evening, yesterday (a Friday)

I though the Calendar was the only thing facing delays?

I haven't had or seen any delays in m-m. I have had corrupt keychains, and I do have a machine (Vista machine) that constantly gets errors in syncing the calendar, but overall it's working "OK". Not perfectly, but no speed issues, and no lost data.

From time to time I do back up my contactlist in Outlook 2008; it's trivial and fast to do so, and if m-m ever screws up I can easily go back to a point I'm happy with.

Other than the annoying unread status issue, its been working speedy and stable for me here these past few weeks.

I do occasionally get a strange 'Security Certificate Invalid' with MM, but it doesn't seem to cause any issues as far as I can tell.
