I'm taking a review class here in Sarasota, and as I'm walking into the hotel a guy looking EXACTLY like Mit came walking out in jogging clothes and someone said he had their vote...

We did the typical guy nod and walked past each other. I kinds did a double take...

Any idea?

If the security detail is doing its job, you're not going to immediately notice them guarding him. It's not like they form a human shield around him at all times.

Yes. I heard him on a show on the way to work saying he was on his way from Naples to Sarasota.

you've never seen a political candidate have you? There are always visible agents as well as those undercover.

There were other people around, but none of them looked like the typical SS

What hotel are you at? There is probably a way to find out where he is at, like what campaign stop he has got today.

n/m you said Sarasota that's close enough

Hmmmm....apparently Romney's campaign, as well as several others do not have Secret Service protection as they didn't request it.

http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewPol...0801/POL20080115b.html

I always thought they got it as a matter of rule.

Not during the primaries usually.

it says they all qualify, just didn't ask for it.

That's what I mean. They don't usually ask for protection until the primaries are over. There are exceptions but that is generally the case.

You breathed the same air as Mit Romney. OMGZ!!! Actually that is pretty cool. I always hear about other people running into celebrities but I never have myself.
