Is Mitchum Roll-On the most effective antiperspirant/deodorant?

I suffer from chronic and profuse sweating o' the armpits. I was honestly starting to think I might have to see a doctor for some prescription stuff it was so bad. I recently discovered Mitchum Roll-On deodorant and I'm dry for the first time in memory. Even this stuff wears off about halfway through the day though and I've taken to leaving a bottle in my desk at work for a touch-up at about lunch time. Still, this is way better than walking around all day with dark spots in the pits of my shirt. Has anyone else used Mitchum and know of anything that works even better?

I use Mitchum, but not a roll on (I assume you mean one with a rolling ball or something)
Either way, Mitchum is the most effective antiperspirant I've ever used.

I've been using Mitchum Roll-On for as long as I can remember. Good stuff.

If you really wanna treat it find a product called Certain-Dri (its on the shelves of most stores). You put it on for two weeks in the evenings and in a couple weeks it will make your pits less sweaty. Problem is you'll likely start sweating more from other places.

I put it on at night and my pits are dry the next day, not weeks later. It's great stuff. It's liquid and once it dries, leaves no gunky film to rub off. Lasts for 3 days. Costs like $4.70.

I specified the roll-on because I tried the Mitchum version that looks like a regular gel stick and it didn't work any better than the other brands I've tried, even though it claims to have 25% of the active ingredient vs. 20% in the roll-on. Maybe the thinner liquid in the roll-on allows the aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex to enter sweat pores more easily or something, but the difference is definitely noticeable.

Antiperspirant, just like perfume and cologne, reacts differently based on pH levels in the body. Perfume and cologne may smell different on the person next to you than it does on your significant other.

There is no "best" antiperspirant because one brand may work for you but not work for your sibling, etc.
