Is Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback 2 newer/better/poweful than Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro??? I need some advice quick!. thanks.

I've had both. The ff2 is about 2 years or more newer then the pro. I've had both. Not a huge difference but I always like to have the latest and greatest so I sold the pro and got the ff2. The ff2 looks a little better and the slider has a better feel then the dial on the pro. The ff2 is supposed to have more effects then the pro.

I have both, prefer the new one. no Big PS just a power cord. Also has a better feel to it. However the best thing I like is the usb. It allows me easyly swap out different controlers without going into the Game properties.

I had the FFB Pro.
Man the Fan or whatever it was, was Loud/Annoying.

So I Sold It.

I think its all a matter of opinion.... I personally HATE the feel of the MS joysticks, but I love my Logitech Strike Force 3D.

Im with dulanic. I hate the MS FF. I love my old Wingman FF!
