I mean, for all of you who believe in evolution, ponder this one for a second. The reason that we become sick and/or die is because its what natural selection wanted, right? so is trying to cure our illnesses wrong?

No. Because every living thing has a will to live.
The need to survive is the very basis of evolution.

First off you are talking about Natural Selection like its an entity or god. Secondly, think about what natural selection means? An ape who falls into water and drowns, dies. An ape who falls into water and swims, lives. This carries the swimming genes on. (Very generic and stupid example).... so by your theory the second ape was wrong for saving its own life because it went against natural selection.
If all of nature followed your moral view on this, then there would be no progression in evolution.
