Actually, a couple of parts on the TV version are funny if you've seen the original just for how they changed it. Kind of like Smokey & the Bandit TV version changing "Son of a B!tch" to "Scumbum".

It's pretty funny, but if you haven't seen it watch it on DVD first. The FX version tonight was edited pretty bad.
 
I'd like to see the scenes on tv with the 3 sons... those were some of the funniest scenes that certainly had to be edited for television. The flagrant use of mother fu...'in as they discussed science was hilarious.
