Is MDK2 a legitimate graphical benchmark?

Does anyone use this in their benchmarks? I noticed the demo mode isn't that stressful compared
to 3dmark, UT demo, RTCW etc. But it has the following options with FPS monitoring:

Resolution, texture quality slider bar, Hardware T&L, 32,16 color depth and trilinear/bilinear
filtering.

Just interested if anyone uses this to benchmark performance of their graphics cards.
If so please post your video card specs and your FPS. Also, its a helluva fun game to play.

Thanks ~BRETT~

Seems like lots of people used to use it to benchmark cards awhile back. I havn't seen it for quite some time in any video card benchmarks though. If you really want to benchmark your card I think you'd be better off sticking to the usual: q3, 3dmark....

If I remember correctely MDK2 made heavy use of the T&L unit so it was a
good benchmark for that aspect of the card.
