Is McDonald's The Key To World Peace?

I had a friend mention to me that no two countries that had a McDonald's have ever gone to war.
Does anybody know if this is true or false?

If this is true, should we demand through UN mandate, that ALL member countries have at least one McDonald's?

India/Pakistan both have McDonald's. Dunno the official dates of war but you could pretty much call it that now.

edit: there is a restaurant in Delhi that has lamb burgers those are pretty good too. no beef in India!
