Is Marilyn Manson....

In reality he's a nerd. But I don't think he's the most well-spoken artist out there...not by a long shot. But he's better than the Yo man, we be makin albums man and they be good, yeah man...

ok yea, if you dont think manson is, who do you think is better?

yea, why are the dudes who make weird music so damn smart?

MIKE

The guy is smart. How many of you would do the things he's done? He knew from the beginning how to make money and make it in showbiz. When he is prancing around in a corset and heels singing about how much he hates the world, he knows exactly what he's doing. He's no fool and I find it no surprise he comes off as smart in interviews. He's a man that knows how to market and sell.

Brian Warner (Manson) is incredibily smart and very articulate. He use to be a (music) journalist back in the late 80's before he made it big.

As for all the makeup, I found it very interesting to find that he was a huge HUGE Kiss fan growing up, hence the inspired make-up he wears. He said he always dreamt of being the lead singer of the most famous rock band in the world when he was a kid. Although his popularity has died down, I think at one point, they actually acheived that.

Anyways, I always find myself just stopping what I'm doing and just listening to him when I come across him on TV, or reading an interview of his.

The guy is basically a good business man. He knew peeps would eat up his renewed Kiss act. Towards the end of his autobiography, he essentially admits that. I highly recommend it.

Gene Simmons of KISS is also very articulate. I saw him on the O'Reilly Factory once. Seemed pretty intelligent.

Now for dumb "musicians", Bill had ICP on another time. They're idiots.

I would have to agree with whoever said Tom Morello. The man is amazing, when you hear him talk you want to agree with him.

I actually think of musicians in this modern day as the next gen politicians.

You have to remember that Tom Morello graduated from Harvard with a degree in history....and as far as musicians and politicians, I agree some have some affect, but don't give me this P. Diddy shat either.

Not sure about the most, but he is very well spoken and an intelligent speaker contrary to his popular image

What he said. I've read quite a few interviews with him and the old saying "Don't judge a book by it's cover" definitely applies to MM.

What a waste of a Harvard education! History Major?

Avril Lavigne has them beat. She's as coherent as a brick. I've seen and heard a lot of interviews with ICP and I've read Joe Bruce's book and he's actually pretty intelligent. (Keep in mind there are many different kinds of intelligence). The other one, Shaggy, doesn't seem to be quite all there though.
