Is Malaysia a good Intel plant for OC'able chips?

Just got my retail box 2.8 / 800FSB P4 in. Noticed that it's fabbed in Malaysia. Is this a lucky plant for most folks?

Does it really matter where the chips come from? Intel would probably have some quality measures that would ensure that the chips would come out the same no matter where's the plant is.

Anyway this is about Intel, but all the AMD chips that i've seen/known are fabricated in Malaysia and they overclock like hell too :D

I wouldn't think it would matter either, but I've read OC articles before that would swear by the plant that made the chip. Just couldn't remember if Malaysia was one they'd swear by - or swear at. ;)

Unscientifically ofourse I have seen better results with ppl and Costa Rica chips!!!!;)

Rememeber the chips are not fabircated in Malaysia or Costa Rica...they are likely fabed in Oregon , Arizona, and new Mexico...they are packaged into the socket an heat spreader we see them as finalized..
