Of course they are. They are just trying to paint MS as a monopoly, bent on controlling your life. I hate people who talk so much sh!t about MS. If you don't like it, there are plenty of choices out there. Good luck finding one that is as easy to use or has such a wide range of software.

atleast ms pays their workers decent wages and doesn't hire illegals through subcontractors

The surface of Lindows looks nearly identicle to Windows XP, it's no wonder MS is sueing them
 
I especially think the article complaining about xbox live removing files is stupid first off

A: Don't connect it to the network unless its already booting linux u gimp its ur fault it screwed up.
B: I am sorry but in his letter he says his xbox is modded whether he installed linux via the software option or hardware option either way you look at it it is modding it. You have forced the xbox into installing files.

Either way sounds like propaganda I like linux I like windows. I don't really care either way I just wish zealots would jump off a freaking cliff so I don't have to read this garbage. Either way you turn you have people complaining about the other camp. GET OVER IT....its software!

Michael Roberts is a fly by night salesman. He was the creator of the original, now defunct, mp3.com

He is just trying to push more crap to the market..
I'm suprised Lindows doesn't have the "As seen on TV" sticker on it...

I have played with Lindows enough to know that its not very usefull as it's a very hacked distro of Linux.

i say competition is good no matter what the os. linux, osx, lindows, whatever. i think the more choices for consumers the better. eventually the market dictates itself and in the end ms will win because people dont want to deal with bullshit and overall like operating systems that are more plug and play and can be up and running easily and take very little knowledge to run and maintain.
