Yes, if you don't need a keyboard the LG Optimus is definitely better. The clock speed on the Optimus CPU is slower but is coupled with twice the RAM for overall better performance than the Intercept.

Actually the Intercept has the better cpu, they are both ARM11's but it's clocked higher. The extra ram on the Optimus probably makes up for it though and it does have Froyo.

Rev. 0 is like EDGE and Rev. A is 3G so it's a noticeable difference.

ARMv6 is the architecture of ARM11 chips.
