Is Lebron James overrated?

I see his basketball cards on ebay going for about 1k. Do you think he's overrated?

Yeah he hasn't played a single NBA game yet, has $100 million in endorsements and replaced Kobe as Sprite's man.

He did pretty well, actually. But he played against other rookies and 3rd string players, so I don't know. However, he always only played like 20min, which isn't much, so, it's hard to tell where he is really at. I don't think he'll be a flop. He'll be called the biggest mistake ever in pro sports if he does. So I expect LeBron to do well.

ROFL! I dunno, I've always routing for talked about rookies to do good. Last year Houston was my team for a while. I thought they would at least make it to the playoffs with Yao. Guess not.

Also around this time on ebay.com, Yao's rookie card was going for the same price as Lebron's. I checked tonight and it's about half of what it once was.

He participated in the Summer League. But like someone mentioned he played against 3rd stringers and other rookies.

i don't recall seeing summer league games played before packed houses with movie stars in the front row
