I like it, but still prefer ninpo taijutsu. It's nice to see a style getting popular by focusing on pain creation and efficiency, rather than esoteric flash.

Your taijutsu is no match for my Sharingan and ninjutsu. Ninpo.... kuchiyose no justu!

When they announce its time to learn how to fight with edged weapons, bring your e-tool.

I'd rather use my Ka-Bar than a fvcking shovel! :p
Though General Smith used it quite well during Vietnam.

Shovels were the best edged weapons used in the trenches in WWI.

Shovels were the best sharp weapons used in the trenches in WWI.

...and automatic weapons were sparsely used, the 30-'06 was a relatively new cartridge, and we thought the League of Nations was a good thing! Times change, and Ka-Bars were invented.
As the cadence goes:
Ka-Bar Ka-Bar is my best friend.
United States Marines will fight to the end.

No mention of shovels in there. :p

All joking aside, the E-tool is very effective, both in it's primary use, as a shovel, and it's secondary use, as a weapon.

Ouch.

Hi hevnsnt,

Thanks for your interest in Krav Maga. Yes, we have some week day classes (noon to 1 p.m.) and Saturday morning classes that may fit your schedule. Our schedule is available online at www.kravmagakc.com

The Intro is a great way to check out what we have to offer. We have a $10 Introductory class scheduled this Saturday from 11 to 12:30. If you would like to come in and try it, let me know. I'd be happy to get you registered.

After the Intro class, we provide detailed program information, including costs. Our basic membership is $90 per month for a 6-month program which includes unlimited Krav Maga Level 1 training. There is also a one-time-only enrollment fee of $79.

For only $10 more a month, you can add all the Krav Maga Fitness classes, a great addition to get you in great shape fast.

Again, just let me know via phone or email if this Saturday's intro class will work for you.

Sorry, I'm not a manga-maniac, I just enjoy putting TKDers who think they're dangerous in the hospital. Are you in the Booj, or are you one of those Jinenkan guys?

Not familiar with the e-tool, but I know the Russians had a good one. I'm partial to the Vietnam tomahawk myself. Hawk throwing has become my new hobby of late.

While I can't hook you up with a discount per se, the dojo where my brother instructs will generally let you take a couple of classes for free to see if it's the type of thing you want to get into.

The prices they list depend on which program you sign up for, but seem to run around $90-100/month.

They're usually happy to talk to you about it -- no 'hard sell' techniques or anything, they do it cause they love it. If you interested at all, give a call some evening and ask.
