HyperX is good stuff, and that RAM looks good to me. I'd shop around a bit and see if you can find a better deal.

I've got a gig Kingston HyperX PC4000 and its great. I have it OC'ed to DDR520 (260FSB) and sure it could go further.

Ditto. Mine was @1:1 too, with a 3.0c.

Forget about ZipZoomFly even. A friend of mine picked up some HyperX PC4000 last night from a major retailer (either BestBuy or CircuitCity, forgot which) for $129 plus tax per 512MB stick.

That's a terrible price. There have been BestBuy deals recently for 512MB PC4000 (the link shows PC3500) for $99 and $109 per stick after $10 rebate. I picked up a couple of sticks (I should've bought more) and they've been running great at 250FSB. They are CL3, not CL2, but there are no PC4000 sticks available that are spec'd at CL2. I haven't tried tightening the timings at all, but I'm sure I could run these things at CL2 if I were running them at PC3200 speeds.

I can only get my PC4000 HyperX to run CAS 2.5 @ 200MHz, which still isn't bad, but remember this guy is in CANADA. They normally have to pay more.

Probably should have gone with the HyperX PC3500 to get better timings if you are going to run it @ 200mhz.

Is it any good? And im assuming it's CL2, right?

Wait! Here's something better....CORSAIR TWINX1024-4000 DDR500 ..... one of the fastest RAM modules on the planet and $10 USD less than your tiger's price of $298.

First stick was from Best Buy (after a $15 MIR), second was a PM to Best Buy at Circuit City (so I wouldn't have to deal with the rebate, but YMMV on getting the PM).

Oh, sorry, ~450 Canadian dollars = what, about $270-280 USD or so? Not too bad of a deal, I guess.

You can easily find HyperX PC4000 512 for around $125 off of ebay. So a gig for around $250, not a bad deal. I also hit up BB when they were selling it for $99 a stick (reg. price $199, after rebates).
