is it wrong to call "big" people "fatso"?

people call me "bones" and "toothpick" sometimes and i don't get offended... when i return the favour and call them "fatso" they get all "jazzed" up... what's up with that?

Most people in modern societies are either fat or "morbidly obese" Often times when they call you toothpick, they're jealous that they can't lose weight themselves. You shouldn't take it as an insult. Also, fat people are pretty big so I wouldn't go around insulting them, or they might gang up on you one day :Q

Just make sure you have a good distance between you and them when you say it, most of them aren't hard to outrun.

Use something less threatening...like "biggy" or "big papa" (from Dogma)...as opposed to bad stuff like "tub-o-lard" or "blubber boy."

If it's banter between people that know each other and they are making quips about your size, why not throw one back?

However to call somebody you don't know, or that is sensitive about their weight, 'fatso' isn't exactly a nice thing to do
