HAHA, I think I'm one of the few people in these nerdy forums that thought the entire X-Men movies that came out where complete trash. They are awful and Hugh starred in them all. I did like his role in the Prestige though and a few other movies. I don't find him a terribly great actor though. Not bad, but not great. I'll catch this movie sometime later on Netflix if I can remember it when it finally gets put on Netflix 3 years from now.
I thought the first two were ok when I first saw them, but now think they're pretty bad. The second one is the best, but its an average movie made worse by its atrocious use of the X-Men franchise. The first one is an even more mediocre movie. The third is just awful every way you put it. I haven't seen Origins because I thought it looked so bad.
I had actually thought Hugh made an ok Wolverine, until I watched some of the animated series again and remembered how much more badass he's supposed to be.
yeah. it looks like one of the dumbest movies ever made. It's basically Over the Top without all the bitchin' Arm Wrestlin'
The Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots Movie... and other shit people in the 1970s never thought would actually exist. Take that!
Not as much as wanting to see Battleship.
(Yes, there is a movie based on the board game Battleship coming out.)
I thought that the original trilogy was mediocre at best, never understood the hard-ons people have for the series. Never really liked Wolverine as he always talks smack but really didn't do anything - having said that, I thought Hugh Jackman was much too tall, clean and handsome to be Wolverine.
I did, however, really liked the X-Men:First Class movie.
Wolverine is my favorite. He actually did a lot (although he spent more time talking shit and getting his ass kicked in the animated series than anything, but he was better in the comics). I didn't have an issue with Jackman's looks although yeah he was a bit tall. It was just everything as a whole was lacking.
I haven't watched First Class yet. I thought it looked pretty bad to be honest so I skipped it.

Without question the best Hugh Jackman movie about a kid that teaches his arrogant dad a lesson that beats up robots for a living all year.
