Is it worth upgrading to WinXP 64 yet?

Is there decent driver coverage these days? Are there any games x64 compatable? Browsers? Is there an x64 version of firefox?

And even assuming there is wide support for x64 software... is the performance increase worth shelling out more money for XP64?

Fairly. I'll keep whining about my color management drivers, and TV tuner drivers are yet far and few between, but things are ok for the most part. Games? A few have patches or add-ons that provide "special features" for x86-64 only. Firefox? There is an x64 version, but I don't see any point in using it. The normal 32 bit version is better.

I got it for "free" along with XP Pro through the university's software licensing program, but if you have to pay the full amount for it, I wouldn't recommend doing so.
