Is it worth upgrading from the Canon S900 to the I950

I have a Canon S900 and was wondering if it is worth the upgrade to the I950. I know the I950 can do higher resolutions, but is it any faster? Can you really tell a difference b/t the two resolutions? What are other differences b/t the two?

I mean that Canon is spelled C-A-N-O-N, the same way that puppy is spelled P-U-P-P-Y, and soda is spelled S-O-D-A. A cannon is a large gun.

WinstonSmith has an I950, but I don't know if he can make a comparison. I've never used either one.
