I have 2 Dell 2405FPWs that I use together, but was curious to get peoples take on if they think its worth it to just get rid of them in exchange for the new 30 incher. Would anyone take the leap?
 
I would find dual 24" much more useful, especially if you have more than one PC or multimedia device (ie XBOX 360, PS3, etc.)
 
Speaking strictly in $.

It's a good trade.

However, my vote lies with the "Keep the 2 24" ones or you're a nut" crowd. There's just no substitute to 2 incredibly sweet monitors.

On a side note contact me if you ever want to get rid of them 🙂
 
Well to be honest I am just bored with them, so the thought has been crossing my mind the past few days. Would love the new one, but just can't justify the spending without getting rid of at least one or both of the 2405's

I am bored with everything easily...no matter what it is.

Personally I wouldn't trade but I do think those new 30"'ers are finally going to eliminate the need for a TV for many. It's going to be the perfect HTPC companion, especially for smaller apartment living.
 
Depends on what you do.

If you are a gamer you might be better off with a single 30 inch, otherwise having 2 monitors is otherwise more usefull generally.
