Is it worth the upgrade?

Hi there guys,

I was just wondering if I should bother upgrading from a p4 2.53 533 fsb system, to an 800 fsb system.

If its worth the upgrade,

What motherboard would you guys recommend that I go with?

Should I go with Asus? or Albatron?

I would like a motherboard that supports 8x agp.

I for sure think it's worth it, especially if you sell me the old m/b and chip really cheap.

i don't think that's worth it.... becaues personally I think that anything above 2GHz is already superior.

I would wait till all the bugs if any are worked out. At least till a rev 2 mobo comes out.

not as big as my upgrade was (coming from a vp6, 866mhz) but it should be worth it.

iv got the ic7-g and its soooo damn fast.

Unless you get some crazy cheap deal that you can't pass up, save your $$$. Not enough of a performance difference in most cases to justify the change.

i think its worth it, abit IC7 is a nice board
