Is it worth the Money for me to upgrade now?

I am still running on an Iwill KK266 with a Tbird 1.33 overclocked to 1.45 and 512mbs PC133 with a geforce 2-32mb video card. I have noticed win XP is a bit sluggish for my taste.
Would the switch to a DDR board with a 1.6A or an XP 1800 make a noticeable difference, along with a geforce4 ti4200.
Please feel free to offer any brand board or setup you like or have had experience with. I have read lots of good things about epox boards but have not owned one yet.I have owned a few MSI boards and would never ever purchase another. I am also a big fan of Abit boards.

Also what is the best memory for this setup that will overclock. I have not upgraded in so long that I am way behind.

I think it is worth it....the perfromance gain would be nice with the athlon and ddr and the gf4 should be a noticeable boost in 3d apps....

I think the best money would be spent on a 1.6a and an epox 4g4a mobo and crank her up....

Unless you plan on getting a upper speed T-bred or baton the mobo will be useless with a hammer anyways...The p4 offers potential to run quite few more p4 speeds not yet released, but likley will need something new to run prescotts when they arrive...

So...Anything will be temporary...just spend a little and get the most performance out of it...Ie I think that is the intel since ocing athlons is a total crap shoot...
