ok, i have a secondary system (primary one is v nice) in my room.

it's current spec is:

amd k6-2 450 (may overclock whenever i can be bothered to get the bios update)
128 mb PC100 SDRAM
voodoo 3 2000 agp
WD 12.6gb HD ata 33 (66 when i get the bios update)
Fic VA-503+

it scored 528 in 3dmark 2001, terrible , although i know this is due to the voodoo not being able to take some of the tests. however, in unreal tournament i get an average framerate of 30 fps, at 640x480 with medium detail, which i consider playable, except when there is alot goin on it can get choppy.
however, the geforce 2 MX 400 64mb i have found for a reasonable price, and i was wondering if my system would benifit at all from it (better framerates, image quality). i know the cpu would be the bottleneck, so would i be better of with a geforce 2 MX 200 32mb, well not better, but see a difference (the geforce 2 MX 200 isn't much cheaper then the 400)
i just want to breathe some life into this soon to be obsolete system

another thing that i really like about this card is the TV out feature, it would be cool playing UT on a TV, which by the way, what sort of cable do u use for the OUT, because the TV in my room is old and isn't SCART, just of those old connections, would it work?

I think I would stick with the Voodoo 3 if I were you. They play UT like a bandit. If you were to get a graphics card with TV out, it would have S Video out. Some cards come with a RCA adapter, but if you have an old TV, that wont be enough. You'll have to get a modulator box that will run you about $30.

G2 mx would definately be better than the voodoo imo. More memory and driver support, i'm pretty happy with the one i have.
