Is it worth paying my apartment's private parking company?

When I first moved into my apartment complex last month, my apartment manager had stated that it was alright to use the gated (comes with a password she doesn't normally give out) parking lot to move in things. However, it seems she had hired a private parking company to enforce parking just a few days ago. Thus, when I tried this evening (9:45pm ish) to get my bike out to bring to my parents' house, I received a parking ticket (at 9:53pm) worth more than the cost of a parking permit ($40 vs $30). They came out just as fast as they came in... Considering PPC's, is it worth fighting it? Or is it better to suck it up for a ~$3.50/minute parking?

It's really not worth fighting. You were wrong, they were right. I would just pay the ticket, identify the cars they use, and slash their tires/bomb them. Everyone knows this.

If you don't pay, they'll send you to collections or put a hold on your license renewal.
