Is it worth learning VMS?

Anyone have any opinions about whether or not its still worth picking up VMS? Compaq has killed it, but there are still a TON of machines out there running it, so I was debating picking it up. Any thoughts?

Large corperations still continue to use it. Our company (major long distance company) uses VMS for the billing system.
It couldn't hurt, and if you know MS-DOS, VMS is kinda-sorta similar. It's not my choice OS, but easy to learn.

If you have a system handy (some edus run it, if you're interning at a company that handles a lot of data processing they probably have it) take a whirl at it. I personally can't stand it, but the gurus that can use it where I work live by it.
