Is it worth it?

Is it worth the money to spend $80 on a case for a budget system? Or is it just as well to buy a generic $40 job?

I think it's always better to spend more on a case. You usually get a better PS.

It is always good to buy a quality case. Remember, you'll be using that case for about three computers in the future.

You don't need to spend 80.00 for a good case. The Enlight 7237 w. 250W power supply is only like 57-56 dollars, and the power supply should do the job.

I agree with whalen. The Enlight 7237 is an excellent value for the money. And it most definitely meets Rastus' criteria, i.e., it will last you through more than a few upgrades.

Definitely don't go too cheap on a case. I bought a $40 case and it was cheaply made. The back-plates(by mouse/keyboard etc) were extremely flimsy and would vibrate like crazy. It made such an annoying sound. I took the case apart a number of times to put sound deadening/vibration absorbing material, but it didn't help too much. Then, the PS went dead. So I got an Antec sx830. Enlight's are inexpensive and good quality.
