Hi everyone. I've been hearing a lot about the new Athlon 64 and frankly it sounds very promising. I'm looking to purchase a PC after having been on a Mac for 7 years so that I can begin work on modeling a city for game I am making. Situation is, I have 2k to spend and I'm not sure if I should wait for the 64 or just go with a mid-range for the time being. I'm still debating between a P4 2.53GHz, the Athlon XP 2500 or the Athlon XP 2100. I'll be using Maya and Photoshop for my work.
